About Thomas & Jurgen

The work of Thomas & Jurgen is defined by visual improvisation and a strong focus on process, in which collaboration plays a central role. Using self-made tools such as cylinders, cubes, and squeegees, they create abstract compositions on a variety of surfaces.

Their approach results in a wide range of work: from canvas, glass, prints and murals to video, performances and publications. These different physical forms of expression are also brought together in temporary installations (SET's).

The work can be seen as a still life of fleeting moments, offering the viewer insight into the creative process, which at times is even more important than the final result.
